“Here we go, Day 2 from the Octagan House…just down the road from the back gates of Wimbledon.”

“A quick thank you to Tommy Robredo, J.Wayne Richmond, Kelly Wolf and the Tournament Director of the China Open, Charles Hsiung for being on the show yesterday.”

“The best match I saw yesterday was the Bobby Reynolds (USA) vs. Steve Johnson (USA) battle out on Court 4. Reynolds won the match in five well played sets 1-6, 7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-4. It was played in front of an appreciative packed crowd and it finished just before darkness. Although Reynolds won the match…the real winner was Steve Johnson. We may of just seen the next truly world-class player from the United States.”

“The worse match I saw yesterday was the Igor Sijsling (NED) vs. Alex Kuznetsov (USA). Words can’t properly describe how mediocre Kuznetsov looked. A very sad performance.”

“What’s up with the 16th seed from Germany, Philipp Kohlschreiber?.This dude walks up to the umpires chair at 1-2 in the 5th set and say’s….and I quote….”I’m tired” . Then he meekly retires.This is WIMBLEDON dude. You don’t quit at Wimbledon because you’re “tired”. Hey Philipp….here’s a cup of coffee… now go play the 5th set.”

“Former Women’s French Open Champion, Francesca Schiavone (ITA) just got hammered yesterday. Sabine Lisicki. (GER) beat her like a drum 6-1, 6-2.”

Nice and somewhat surprising wins yesterday by James Blake and Dennis Kudla.”
