For those who read my blog yesterday like you did Torben (coach Kerber) this Blog is for you!
My day today was a challenge of being able to spend time with all of the players that are playing tomorrow!
Luckily the people who are responsible of booking practise courts were very kind to help me (like they have done for the past 20 years)
They were even able to make sure that the players I work with were moved courts so I could be with 2 players (4 on a court) that practiced with separate training partners!
However as we expected rain on Saturday we were very lucky today to get in all of the hours we had planned! Even though we were forced to leave the court for 5 min due to a very heavy shower! Everybody was running for cover!
Since the Wimbledon courts were closed all of the players had to double up on most courts but if you are smart and line up you practise with a British player you get the court alone and even the center court of the practise courts (this is court 3 of Aorangi) complete with Benches (which will be filled tomorrow but today were used by one sole spectator)
Again I was spotted on court and this time not in all whites and Kiki Mladanovic decided to send out a tweet
Besides being on court with Ayumi Morita, Timea Babos Christina McHale and Kiki Mladanovic I was also spending some time with Caroline Wozniacki who seemed to be floating in mid air when she strikes her Backhand!
Everything just went perfect and we could not have had a better day of preparation! Tomorrow all of the girls above will pay their 1st round expect Ayumi but ad Sorana Cirstea to the list of players who I will see first thing in the morning before her match!
Before I left the Wimbledon Grounds I could not resist to take a picture of the courts, having their beauty sleep before their big day tomorrow! What a special feeling and excitement to be part of this spectacular sport/tournament!
When I returned to the adidas House I was welcomed by a tennis legend! I could not resist to ask for a picture with one of my favorite players of all time! Stan Smith ( the Man that made tennis shoes cool)
I finished my day by watching the Andy Murray documentary on BBC and I was so happy to see the real Andy! He is such a great guy and I wish him the best of luck this Wimbledon!
