Greetings from Madrid - Sven's Postcard |
Perfect start in the preparation for this years tournament in Madrid!
The courts are Orange (as the should be, maybe somebody in the states can tell me why they call them Red Clay?) and prepared by the groundsmen of Roland Garros
Still a lot of work to be done all around the courts and the total Venue! the player restaurant was not open but the detailed attention by tournament director Manuel Santana and assistant Alberto Berasatequi provided us with lunch with the staff!
You can expect a lot of great tennis and great food during this coming tournament in Madrid!

First Day at the Davis Cup between Spain and Germany in Valencia. Traveling is part of my life for the Past 37 years and the past weeks have not been different.
