Since 2011, Babolat has put a lot of time and resources into being the official supplier of racquets, balls and strings for Roland Garros.
This year it has become the official tennis shoe brand of Wimbledon.
Now Babolat has expanded its product range to include the new SFX Wimbledon. In keeping with the British tradition of elegance at the All England Lawn Tennis Club, this white shoe model features touches of green and purple—a nod to the tournament colors.
The SFX Wimbledon is a high performance shoe made for more fluid and optimal footwork is said to be durable and can also grip all surfaces. Its outsoles were developed in partnership with Michelin.
At the upcoming French Open, Babolat will unveil its Iconic Pure Drive racquet with a brand new look with French Open colors. The seventh generation Babolat Pure Drive is enhanced with an exclusive technology, Cortex Active technology, for more control in every shot. Na Li, Sara Errani and Julien Benneteau all play with the racquet.
The Babolat Drive A, a lightweight and forgiving racquet has also been introduced.
The company has also produced the Team French Open bag, which is said to combine optimal protection for the racquet with technology and elegance. The Racquet Holder, which holds up to 12 racquets, benefits from multiple functionalities such as the isotherm racquet compartment, which protects the quality of the string tension.
Created in 1875, in Lyon, France, Babolat is the longest-running international company specialized in tennis. Today, Babolat is said to be No. 1 in tennis racquet sales in the United States, Japan, France, Spain, and Italy.
