Day 10 started with a 9am to 11 am workout with team adidas and Sorana who had her last practice before her departure for Miami
Also had a chance to watch Daniela have her last hit before heading down to the Sunshine Coast!
After hearing that Samantha Stosur had withdrawn the rumors started to come about a double pull out! People were hearing rumors about Azarenka and having walked of in tears during her warmup!
We prepared Caroline the way she always does and did not pay may attention to the rumors but put the full focus to be prepared for the quarter finals and having a chance to play the number 2 in the world and number 1 seed (this is what you train for and want to play)
After the wam-up which finished around 1:45 we got the official that Azarenka had given a WalkOver!
What to do? Some players decide to hit some more but Caroline decided to have a good stretch and invited us for a lunch @laquintaresort
After lunch I wanted to explore the local area and have some time for some more reflection of the wonderful place we are visiting and stopped at “Cove Oasis”
My parents, Yury, Mats and I decided to go for a short drive and pay a visit to “LAKE CAHUILLA” and take in the views
Again if you have never been to @BNPPARISBADOPEN you don’t know what you are missing
For now I am looking forward to the women’s semi final day tomorrow with 3 of the 4 @adidastennis players being represented!
I will be sitting in a neutral position while Caroline and Angelique play their match because we do not coach against other adidas players and will not sit in the players box! I will look forward to watch and support Maria Kirilenko during her match with Maria Sharapova!
