First trip of the the year. Waiting out the rain!

After spending the Holidays in Barcelona I came to Turkey to play the first tournaments of the year.

Traveling alone, I was lucky when at sign in I ran into an old friend of mine, Vlad, who I had met previously years ago in South America. He is a quite a character on the futures tour, always entertaining… When doing fitness he says wait I have to grab my altitude mask, he comes back, and it looks like he’s ready for a chemical attack

Haha he says it’s hard to breath with this so I am training my lungs as well

After qualifying and battling the cold and wind last week with only hot chocolate to keep us warm! When we thought it was over, BAM! The bad weather strikes again. So I will have to up my hot coco intake again. I think most players are doing the same thing. It is kind of a pre-match and post-match must by now. With all matches canceled due to bad weather and no sign of the rain and thunder stopping! It has been lazy as you can only work out in the gym so much… Luckily there is a good group of guys here. with cards and dice to keep us entertained with the loser of every round having to do some sort of funny dare from having to bring back ice creams for the hole table to having to make a run to the top of the hotel in just undies… Simple but effective entertainment of the futures tour… Haha don’t think we could talk Roger into doing that!
