Caroline Wozniacki and Venus Williams In Battle Of The Sexes
Venus Williams will co-captain a women’s team with Brenda Schultz-McCarthy, and Caroline Wozniacki in a “Battle of the Sexes” on the Stadium Court of the BallenIsles club in Palm Beach Gardens Florida on December 23,
The “Mars vs. Venus Celebrity Tennis Exhibition” will pit the Women’s team of Venus Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Brenda Schultz McCarthy. Two other players will join Venus’ team: Kacey Moore, ranked in Florida 14s, and circuit player Jaine Scheepens
The men’s team will be co-captained by Palm Beach County Deputy Sheriff Ira Peskowitz and Dick Stockton, a former world No. 8 during the 1970s.
BallenIsles Head of Tennis Operations Frank Swope, Gaston Murray, nationally ranked 18s player, and former ATP player and notable coach Ricardo Acuna round out the squad.
The exhibition will follow a World TeamTennis scoring format.
The event will benefit the Kids & Police Tennis Association and the Police Athletic League.
BallenIsles boasts 22 courts and a state-of-the-art Sports Complex.
