Day 4 Qualifying Starts | 
Today the qualifying for the Medibank International in Sydney Australia has started!
Instead of taking the brand new Lexus we had to take the bus at 8 am! Sorana had an early match starting at 10 against the German girl Kristina Barrois!
When they play this early, breakfast was at 7:15 to hydrate and carb fuel load for a match in the heat! However it was raining this morning! This makes it more challenging as 48 players are having to play their first round and some of the players cannot maintain their composure and some upsets do happen!
Due to the rain delays, the warmup (besides the physical and mental activation of the physical trainer Floris) was held in their match warmup (an additional 5 min to the 5 min regulation warmup)! Sorana went on court twice and had an additional interruption before completing her match at 2 pm. Sorana won in 2 sets 6-2 6-3!
Also today it is getting busy as the players (men and women) are coming in from their previous events! It is nice to see a lot of the people coming in but it can also drain your energy and starts eating into your reserves as you tend to fall far to much!
Besides the sunscreen, hydration is one other key aspect to protecting yourself! So today I am already on my 4th liter of water and I am not even playing!
Besides Sorana also another adidas player won her 1st round Qualifying against Mirjan Lucic 6-4 6-2! Later today I will attend some practise session of other stripes players!

To be honest I never ever attended a full weekend of Davis Cup. So that is why I needed to take my parents as they also never experienced this phenomenon.
