Top seed Janko Tipsarevic will contest his first ATP World Tour clay-court final on Sunday at the MercedesCup in Stuttgart.

The Serbian, a winner of two ATP World Tour titles, defeated Brazilian Thomaz Bellucci 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 in two hours and three minutes on Saturday.

The World No. 8 improved to a 35-14 match record on the season, which includes one runner-up finish at the Aircel Chennai Open (l. to Raonic).

Bellucci, 23, dropped to a 4-14 record against Top 10 opponents.

Tipsarevic leads Monaco 2-1 in their FedEx ATP Head2Head series, but lost his only meeting against Garcia-Lopez at the AEGON International three years ago.
