Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will be good to go after all when Wimbledon starts in a week after his finger injury from Queen’s club when he fell on his right little finger.
The No. 5 had featured that something had been broken and that his date at the All England club for the grass-court Grand Slam would be compromised.
But the Swiss-based player’s Facebook page cleared up any doubts about his ability to play, ”Tsonga suffered a severe sprain of the little finger of his right hand without tearing,” the statement read. “He will have a new scan on Monday. His participation in Wimbledon is currently not in doubt.”
