“Halftime” Entertainment Added in 2012

Monday and Wednesday evening will feature special musical guests

We are pleased to announce that the Monday and Wednesday Super Sessions will feature special musical guests directly following the featured evening matches. On Monday night, The Spinners will bring the melodies of Motown out to the Los Angeles Tennis Center as they take you back with some of their timeless classic hits. Topping the pop and R&B charts in the 70s, this dynamic group was nominated for 6 Grammy Awards, and has sold out stadiums around the country with their upbeat rhythms and soulful vibe. Then on Wednesday, jazz trio Sax and The City featuring Jessy J, Marion Meadows and Paul Taylor will take over our stadium with the smooth

harmonies of their saxophones. This trio will be featured in jazz festivals nationwide this summer as these talented musicians come together for a night to remember. These shows are both a part of our fantastic Monday and Wednesday Super Sessions where one ticket gets you in the gate for a full day of exciting tennis matches beginning at 2pm and this outstanding musical entertainment!

USTA Member Appreciation Day

We are pleased to again hold our annual USTA Member Appreciation Day during this year’s tournament. In addition to an exclusive presale reserved for USTA members beginning June 11, we will have special member-only promotions during Tuesday’s Super Session. All USTA members will receive $10 off a single session ticket for that session, a $10 food voucher redeemable on site, and a special promotional gift! Additionally USTA members may purchase tickets on site for the first four sessions of the tournament for $10 off. For more information click here.

Growing the Game

Farmers Classic and the SCTA are introducing Ten And Under Tennis to Area Youth

This year as part of the USTA’s broader national initiative, the Farmers Classic and the SCTA will be taking Ten and Under Tennis out into the local community in the form of Play Days where children will have the opportunity to participate in the latest training methods best suited to introduce young players to the game. Dates for these events are still being finalized but information will be posted on our website as it becomes available. These Play Days will build towards our main Kids’ Day festivities during the tournament on Thursday, July 26. For more information on Kids’ Day or these Play Days please click here.

Calling All Volunteers

Now accepting applications for Tournament Volunteers

Want to be a part of the 2012 Farmers Classic? Sign up today to be a Tournament Volunteer. Each year, volunteers like you make this tournament possible and help run the event in areas from Stadium Ushers and Guest Services to Player Transportation and Practice Court Coordinators. Volunteers will receive the full adidas tournament uniform for their participation. The 2012 Volunteer Online Application can be found here.
