Well hello there everyone!!!
The Nutella queen is back again! I’ve missed blogging and writing down all of my interesting things I do every day. So, Im excited to be back…. Now where should i start!?? Well right now i am playing in a 50,000 in Indian Harbour beach and let me tell you, this place is beautiful. We are in a hotel room right on the beach!!! Its so perfect!! The second night I was here, my friend Grace Min and I went for a swim on the beach at 9 p.m. Crazy right? Its always been on my bucket list to go swimming late so now I can cross that off. I don’t think I’ve laughed so hard in my life, except when this MASSIVE wave came, knocked me so hard to the ground and of course, with my luck, I hit a rock. Then, when Grace and I got out of the water I asked her to take a picture of my back (thats where the rock hit) and it looked terrible! It was a huge red mark that was bleeding! Yuck! But like I said it was totally worth it, so much fun! My coach Troy Hahn doesn’t know about that little adventure so shhhhh. That’s my idea of being bad.
That was pretty much the only interesting thing that has happened to me over the last couple of days. Other than that, I have been relaxing and playing my matches of course. I am in the quarterfinals and play either my good friend and roommate for this trip, Shelby Rogers or my other good friend Grace Min. What a coincidence haha. Oh and I almost forgot about doubles! :(…… I played with my lovely partner in crime Samantha Crawford and we lost 10-8 in the tiebreaker to the No. 2 seeds! Losing in a tiebreaker is the worseloss any tennis player can have so Sammy and I were really bummed. As soon as I got off the court, all I wanted to do was get away from the crowd so luckily I had a car (Audi, my favorite) that could take me back to the hotel. The first thing I did when i got to my room was pulled out my Nutella jar and ate it with my finger (unfortunately there were no utensils available). Since I loss doubles, I felt it gave me an excuse to be depressed for at least 20 minutes, meaning I could eat all the junk food I want and not feel guilty about it. After those 20 minutes were up and I took the hunger edge off a bit, I realized that life goes on and I still have singles tomorrow. I also just realized that I have exactly till tomorrow to turn in all my 0’s in school which I am now freaking out over. Gotta love homeschooling……Luckily, I have my mom and one of my good friends Zach helping me out with them. I don’t think the teachers at my school understand my schedule and they really should consider giving extra time for assignments during tournaments :).
Well I think that’s going to be a wrap for tonight! I’m going to watch my two friends play tonight and see who I will be playing tomorrow. I think a walk on the beach will be nice tonight. I also just ate room service so I feel like I need to walk a little bit of it off. Hopefully next time I write you I will be in the finals!! Talk to you later my blog friends!
