– Mardy Fish and his coach Mark Knowles, who is also in the doubles field this year, went to Minute Maid Park on Tuesday afternoon to watch Astros batting practice.

– The fourth-seeded doubles team of John Brunstrom and Dick Norman took time on Tuesday to visit with patients at Texas Children’s Hospital, which is a charitable partner of the US Men’s Clay Court Championship.

– Wednesday evening will be Armed Forces Appreciation Night. Among the events scheduled for the evening is a wheelchair tennis demonstration featuring Wounded Warriors prior to the start of the night session.
