Singles – First Round: (1/WC) Agnieszka Radwanska leads Akgul Amanmuradova 6-2 3-3, suspended/rain

Since Agnieszka Radwanska had to hurry here from the Middle East, they gave her a late start. But it’s beginning to look as if she might regret that, since it means she’ll have to play a match and a half on Thursday. Assuming the rain ever ends.

Singles – Second Round: (5) Petra Martic def. Kurumi Nara 6-2 3-6 6-0

Petra Martic picks up more than sixty points — but, amazingly, that moves her hardly at all. She remains below #60.

Singles – Second Round: (Q) Hsieh Su-Wei def. Casey Dellacqua 6-1 7-5

Casey Dellacqua should hit the Top Hundred, but not by much. At the rate Hsieh Su-Wei is climbing, she may overtake Dellacqua soon. Hsieh is still below #100, but she is rising steadily.

Doubles – First Round: Pliskova/Pliskova Lead (2) Martic/Mladenovic 2-1, suspended/rain
