*Warming Up at the Aussie*

17 January 2012

Players continue to warm up at the first Grand Slam of the year, in the interesting environment of the land of the Aussies. It’s already getting heated as both Men and Women players show off their racket-skill for an outstanding event on Day 2. Taking a look at the Draws, you can tell that the top players are already knocking out others who are no match for them (apparently), hinting at an epic 2 weeks in which Rafa, Nole, and Fed-Ex will surely deliver fireworks. Li Na and Wozniacki show great promise as always, and as others try to take Wozniacki’s spot, the best of the best must protect what she has managed to hold for so long.

Stick with us as we walk you through many more updates ahead. Please take a gander at our recent opinions below; we’re just warming up too!

Man the barricades! Cry Freedom! – A Rafael Nadal Story
Rafael threw open the door of the factory where he had spend 13 hours toiling in atrocious conditions for pay that would scarcely feed his family. He tore off his white shirt, fished a blade from his pocket and bled himself onto the torn fabric, dyeing it red – the colour of revolution. He braved the chilling, biting wind as he strode bare-chested through the courtyard ignoring the sirens and warnings barked at him by the armed guards.

“Shoot me!” Rafael bellowed at the uniformed men, but they would not shoot. Rafael climbed the watchtower fist over calloused fist, until he had reached the roof. Rafael climbed the watchtower fist over calloused fist, until he had reached the roof.
