Tennis coach Peter Burwash was surprised to find out that his last name and photo were taken off the Internet by Mayor Mike Winder of West Valley City, Utah, and used in a newspaper column under the pseudonym “Richard Burwash,”

Winder apparently was upset with the bad publicity he was getting so he began to write about the “good news” in his city under Burwash’s name. But the real Peter Burwash, who runs the management firm Peter Burwash International, is well known throughout the world so a number of friends called him to let him know what was going on.

Eventually, Winder himself called Burwash and two had a long conversation where the mayor apologized. Burwash promised to take no legal action as long as Winder made a contribution to a school in India for whom his two daughters raised funds.
