Caroline Wozniaki, World No. 1, was dizzy during her match in Istanbul today. Being the true champion that she is, she played on. In spite of feeling dizzy and crummy, she finished the match – Kvitova won 6-4,6-2. Bravo Caro! Bravo team Caro: Mom, Dad, and Sven Groeneveld. Mats Merkel, good luck next match.

The match of the day was the playing of Aggi Radwanska. Her win over Vera Zvonareva was reminiscent of watching Borg in his prime. Radwanska faced match points against her down 3-5 in the third and came back and won. She was cool and played like a woman on a mission. It was called: Get the win, and it was awesome tennis!

Vera is a big GRUNTER… So she grunted and hit winner after winner and they just kept coming back. The chicks had multiple rallies that lasted 22 shots and more … It was fantastic. Agnieszka Radwanska beat Vera Zvonareva. 1-6,6-2,7-5. But it also keeps Caro in the running. Aggi’s winning in three sets keeps her great friend Caroline in the tourney.

GRUNTING – It’s so annoying. Bye , bye Maria, we won’t miss your grunting. Hope your ankle heals soon … Monica Seles we loved you, but hated the grunting. Victoria, you are terrific. We love you, however, you grunt too much.

The only way to describe this U.S. open is soaking wet without raining... It's really hard to play tennis when your socks are soaking wet and you are "sloshing" in your shoes. Your shoes get really heavy when they get wet.
