In semi-finals action today at the $100,000 First Republic Bank Challenger at the Tiburon Peninsula Club, #3 Sam Querrey topped #1 Ryan Sweeting 6-4, 6-3 in a wind-blown match. Querrey will face #3 Ivo Karlovic in the finals in tomorrow’s opening match at 12:00 pm. Karlovic edged Bjorn Phau 7-5, 7-5 in their semi-final match. Querrey and partner Steve Johnson will play Carsten Ball and Chris Guccione in the doubles finals to round out the playing card.
