"STRONG IS BEAUTIFUL" Film starring Maria, Serena, Caroline

“STRONG IS BEAUTIFUL”, the new global advertising campaign from the Women’s Tennis Association, featuring a mix of 40 global marquee champions and next generation of stars, was unveiled earlier this summer. The campaign will reach more than 80 markets through print, TV and online channels. The campaign’s creative concept drew upon athleticism and grace – a unique combination that has turned the stars of the WTA into the most recognizable and followed female athletes on the planet. “STRONG IS BEAUTIFUL” campaign places the personal stories, pressures and dreams of the players front of stage. The end result is a celebration of strong women from all corners of the world and is a life example that being physically and mentally strong is beautiful.

The new “STRONG IS BEAUTIFUL” Short Film (link below) was shot by the campaign’s director Dewey Nicks and produced by Sandrine Lima/Reel Sessions with original music composed by Pamela Chen. Starring Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, Kim Clijsters, Victoria Azarenka, Vera Zvonareva, Li Na, Sam Stosur, Ana Ivanovic, Andrea Petkovic and Jelena Jankovic, the film takes women’s tennis to an unprecedented level of creativity and gives the fans of the sport a unique glimpse into the inner strength and beauty of the best female athletes on the planet.
