Rafael Nadal is making the rounds in the Big Apple. Last night he did the David Letterman show…
He is making appearances for Bacardis Champions “Drink responsibly” campaign – What a stud! Well done “Benito”!!!
Who is Benito? He is a truly great guy, but most people in tennis love him. He was with the ATR for years, and moved on to be Rafa’s P.R. Guy. But if my sources are right he has been doing P.R. for Djokovic as well… If I’m right, this was around the same time that Nole beat Rafa.
RAFAEL is waiting for IRENE like everyone else in NYC. She should be dropping heaps of rain on the greater New York area especially in a place like Long Island, which is where Flushing begins.
New Yorkers don’t forget: Mayor Bloomberg screwed the tennis players of the city. A few months back He raised court prices, and doubled the price of a permit from 100 to 200 dollars. National Tennis Center don’t forget Mayor Bloomberg just likes the money the U.S. Open generates – he doesn’t like tennis. Shame on you Mayor Bloomberg.
The saddest part of the Mayor’s dumb decision was that Tennis is such a great sport to play in a tough economy. It makes people feel good and bust stress whacking the ball around. It’s also a perfect networking opportunity.
