At approximately, 1:50pm EDT a 5.9 earthquake hit Virginia and was felt in North Carolina, Washington, D.C., New York, and in Boston. Shortly after the earthquake…tweets came in from Andy Murray and Mardy Fish who are currently in NY prepping for the US Open. Qualifying matches were temporarily stopped but resumed a short time later.
