Roger Federer Where Is Your Coach?

Lobs, Dropshots, and Bad Bounces ….ok where to start? ……yes, this is a mixed bag.

First question. Where is Paul? Who? Paul Annacone. Coach of Roger Federer? We recently heard that Roger said he needs to make quarterfinals to break even…. odd statement …we want to read the whole interview to make sure its just not an out of context quote or  misquote….

How much does a world class travelling coach make? By the week? More on the road than at home? So, where’s Paul … How odd. Maybe RF got tired of hearing about Pete …..

Poor Rafa. Rafael Nadal is such a Warrior and a trooper. He really was a worn out shell of himself when he went down to Fish…..

“Wozzy” where are you?  Where “woz” you? Caroline Wozniaki … Ouch. Yes, it was a second round loss but it was your first round so to speak as you had a bye …. Yes we know all the players out there are gunning for you. Yes we know you train hard. Yes we believe you earned your number one ranking … But upstairs you need a little help. Ie. Confidence. Closing…

focus. We hear thanks to Justin’s running commentaries you are seeing handsome, HOT golfer Rory Mcilroy….

Andy BRAVEHEART Murray beat FISH. It was a Fish Fry ( Very Hot on court ). First set 6-3 … If you haven’t read the great story on Andy Murray by Chris Chaffee. Its really a wonderful tribute to a fine athlete and man.its on site titled “the Scottish Lion “.  Update on the “Indians” well the dubs team of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi. Today they play the Bryan Brothers. We hope it’s televised. Four of the fastest hands in tennis on court. Guaranteed to be a great match with lots of tension and bruises. Lots of guys will be “tagged” today. Tatooed too ….

Ok. Back to touring coaches salaries. For the most part they are underpaid. Some guys get 500 a week. Or 1000 a week. Some guys get a million a year. All their costs are paid by player. Many coaches travel for free to make a name for themselves… We looked all over for our coaches salaries notes…. More another time. Yes, some are just bag carriers. And some are just related to the players and do every single draining detail. Including running interference from all sides. They book hotels. Airplanes. They handle all transportation needs, organize pick-ups and drop-offs around town. To and from the airports. The sites. The rackets stringing.  Practice partners and courts… more next time.
