Federer takes Blake out in under an HOUR

Roger Federer beat James Blake in 54 minutes and 30 seconds – Wow! The scores were 6-4, 6-1. We saw Federer wearing a new “RF” hat, which was blue and very nice looking.

On other notes: Djoker beat Stepanek, Monfils beat Kohlschreiber, Berdych beat Almagro, Simon took out Ferrer, Andy Murray beat Bogey 6-2,7-5, and lastly Fish took out Gasquet with a pair of 5’s.

Nadal had the battle with Verdasco, and it was a rollercoaster ride! It really was THE match of the tourney. It took Rafa 5 match points to close Verdasco out, but this rough encounter lasted 3 hours and 37 minutes.

Onto the Chicks.

Petrova took out McHale with a pair of 3’s, Petkovic beat Kvitova with a pair of 3’s, Peng beat Peer 3 and 2, Sam Stosur beat Na Li 6-4,3-6,6-4, Maria “I-grunt-a-lot” Sharapova beat Svetty Kuznestsova, we saw Ova vs. Ova. 6-2,6-3, and finally Daniela Hantuchova beat Bartoli in three.

This is SO Rafael Nadal – he played his dubs after his singles today. He and Marc Lopez lost to the Indians, the handsome dynamic duo of Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi.
