“D.Y.” Is playing in his hometown of Atlanta ,Georgia . Donald Young jr. D.Y. to his friends. Is playing in both the singles and doubles…. playing with Ryan Harrison in the dubs.

The Young family has a great tennis program they run in College Park. Its at The South Fulton Tennis Center. The name of the program is TENNIS IN MOTION!

We spoke to.” A Georgia Peach” this morning that filled us in. FYI..sure is nice getting Grits with your eggs …love the food in the South ….Hate the humidity …. Good effort by the tourney to have the locals play. We applaud your wildcard choices … Robbie Ginepri was given a wild card a few days ago.

Back to Donald Young. We’ve just been informed that Big Boss really loves the kid. Geez reminded the boss that DY is going to be 22 on July 23rd. He has been a friend of the site since its inception. We first saw him at the Easterbowl….

Atlanta… Hotlanta… It’s going to be hot and humid. Low nineties all week dropping to 75 at night. Man did we pack wrong. But its another one of those weeks with missing luggage .. So maybe that’s the good news…

Mardy Fish is seeded first and has a bye and then plays the winner of Mahut/ Berankis.

Xavier Malisse (X-MAN) is seeded fourth and has a bye. He then meets the winner of Ryan Harrison or a qualifier. (Yet to be determined)… FYI on Tuesday its X’s Birthday…

Lleyton Hewitt plays a qualifier in the first round.

Donald Young plays Michael Russell. Robbie Ginepri plays Tommy Haas. (Both wildcards)
