Taste of Tennis Miami Presented by Citi at W South Beach

AYS hosted the inaugural Taste of Tennis Miami presented by Citi® on Monday, March 23rd poolside at W South Beach Hotel & Residences. Monday night, Taste of Tennis Miami brought together professional athletes, top chefs and luxury brands for an unforgettable evening of gourmet food, interactive sponsor experiences, signature cocktails and appearances by the world’s best tennis players. Tennis personalities were paired with some of Miami’s best chefs to Serve Up a unique food tasting experience. Tennis’ winningest doubles team of all time, Bob and Mike Bryan and Caroline Wozniacki took to a poolside Ping Pong table with Citi Global CEO Michael Corbat for a friendly doubles game during the event.

Taste of Tennis Miami Presented by Citi at W South Beach

Tennis greats including Sabine Lisicki, Ekaterina Makarova, Sam Groth, Andrea Petkovic, Alison Riske, Lucie Safarova, Fred Stolle, Barbora Zahlavovastrycova, Bruno Soares, Donald Young, Yanina Wickmayer, Andrea Hlavackova and Tennis Coach Darren Cahill were in attendance. Each player was paired with some of Miami’s best chefs throughout the evening. Miami’s finest chefs and restaurants including Andrew Carmellini (The Dutch) as Exclusive Chef of the Citi VIP Lounge, Paula DaSilva (3030 Ocean), Dustin Ward (BLT Prime), Patricia Yeo (Khong River House), Kerry Heffernan (Wild Fish Direct), Michele Mazza (Il Mulino NY), Timon Balloo (SugarCane Raw Bar Grill, Bocce, Sushi Samba), Gilberto Arriaza (Gilbert’s Bakery), Brad Kilgore (Alter) and Thomas Tennant (Ella) all brought unique small plates to the night. A portion of the proceeds from the event benefited FIU College of Architecture + The Arts.
