Caroline Wozniacki. Wimbledon. Is this her year? She is serving well and moving well. Sunshine said she won the juniors at Wimbledon in 2006.

Global Chick ran into Sven. It’s sure good he isn’t blogging. Sven and his ADIDAS team are so busy especially with the rain delays…… it changes every detail of the day for each member of the team.  He has promised a review of the tourney after it is over.

Caroline Quotes: “My time will come. I’m gonna fight to win a grand slam. When I was nine years old I said I want to be number one in the world. This is the first tournament I ever watched on tv. I watched Martina Hingis. She was my idol.” Global Chick ran into Sven. I know I already said that, but I’ts funny. She is so outgoing but she was shy when it came to a hej or hallo to him.

Sven is a magical man. He is a road warrior. He is handsome, charming, engaging (all females swoon over him, lucky Nanine) He is a man that was handpicked by Mark McCormack. Mark knew even a young Sven was light years ahead of everyone else. He knew Sven’s eye for detail. His wisdom of the ages. Yes on top of being Hollywood handsome and our  coach of the year.(10sballs.com coach of the deacde)  Sven possess the wisdom of the ages. Global chick would even get butterflies in her stomach just seeing him. So when Ana was asked about Sven in a presser. Funny. Her comment was I think he is engaged…….  All women love Sven.

I am enjoying Chris Evert and Cliff Drysdale. excellent observations and chatter, but they are talking too much. It’s a running commentary during play. Shame on you both…we would hate to give you our “doublefault ” award.

10sballs.com sure called it right. We said the day the draw was made that Venus seed was way too low. It was way too low. Venus seeded in the twenties? We also wished that the Williams Sisters were on opposite sides of the draw. That happened… That’s good news. The big “W” seeding committee needs an overhaul?

Andy Roddick lost. Still don’t get the low socks and no ankle braces look. Is Andy trying to look younger? The shaved legs? The new look? We just don’t get it. He thinks he looks sexier?  It’s not about that. Its about having those supports on so that he can move around the court without fear of ankle tweaking… some players shave their legs so that when they get massages it doesn’t pull on the hair… more later.
