The TV commentating feed we had was awesome. We lucked into, “the best female tennis match caller.” She doesn’t talk during play. Yay! Louise Pleming from Wagga Wagga in Austrailia. She was a great player but was a bit small for her generation. She is currently a travelling women’s coach from the Austrailian Institute Of Sport. Also called. A.I.S.

Some comments I heard Louise say were. Re : Melanie. “She is not in a good frame of mind in this match.” That was when she was down 0-5 in the first set.

I left the room and Louise’s next gem was so sad but true “she needs to get on the board.”

Poor Melanie. She just didn’t show up. Maybe it was nerves.

Ana on the other hand looked so confidant and did tons of tricky smart plays …maybe that was it.
