Tuesday’s Wimbledon matches will feature a slew of Australian talent as six Aussies, including Samantha Stosur and 2002 Wimbledon champion Lleyton Hewitt, will take to the courts in the first round of play.

Stosur, who at No. 10 in the world is the top-ranked Australian woman, will face Hungarian Melinda Czink in her first-round match. Stosur could meet China’s Shuai Peng, the No. 20 seed, in the third round, before encountering former Wimbledon champion and No. 5 seed Maria Sharapova of Russia in the fourth round.

Hewitt, who has been recovering from a recent foot injury, will square off against Kei Nishikori of Japan, before possibly meeting No. 5 seed Robin Soderling in the second round.

Hewitt will be joined in action on Tuesday by rising star Bernard Tomic. The 18-year-old will take on Russia’s Nikolay Davydenko, who is currently ranked No. 29 in the world.

Meanwhile, Marinko Matosevic, who began his first-round match on Monday, will finish off his battle with No. 25 seed Juan Ignacio Chela of Argentina on Tuesday. Matosevic is currently trailing, 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (6), 3-1.

On the women’s side, Anastasia Rodionova will face off against Andrea Hlavackova of the Czech Republic, and Jarmila Gajdosova will play Alona Bondarenko of the Ukraine.

Who are you rooting for on Tuesday?
