Grigor Dmitrov, Santiago Gonzalez and Daniela Hantuchova happily took some time away from the court on Monday to visit La Quebrada, the official cliff diving site in Acapulco, before their singles openers at the Abierto Mexicano Telcel.
While Gonzalez and Hantuchova were happy to watch the professional divers show off their skills, Dimitrov wanted a piece of the action.
Soon the 23-year-old Bulgarian was standing at the precipice of the 35-meter cliffs preparing for a jump of his own.

“A lot was going through my mind,” said the World No. 10. “The first was preparation. It was all about preparation. The first time you look down, you sort of discourage yourself, but at the same time, I was really composed. I like extreme sports in general, so today was a really good day for me!”
