We are eagerly awaiting the Juan – Martin del Potro match against Novak Djokovic. The balls and conditions will suit “Bounce, Bounce, Bounce.” What will be interesting to see is how Del Potro’s wrist will handle against Djokovic’s powerful serves. Both players have plenty to bring out to the court. Del Potro has an enormous potential to win. There is a lot of talk surrounding him, that he is a great player and that he might even have a chance at the French Open title, if can believe it we might just have a chance to see him win the tournament. As for Djokovic he knows he can be number one, Novak is probably just counting the hours until he gets the chance to take 1st place.
Marion Bartoli won a fantastic battle/match against Julia Goerges. 3-6,6-2, 6-4. Julia is a great young German player with huge potential… That sure was a sweet Porsche she won two weeks ago.
Gisella Dulko won a battle/match. Against Sam Stosur of Australia.6-4,1-6, 6-3.
“Bethanie Mattek-Sands lost to ‘Eskimo girl’.” (Geezer said that) That’s what was written on my morning notes… Bethanie lost to Jelena Jokovic. 6-2,6-2. Jelena must have been on fire to deal Bethanie a pair of twos….
Roger Federer had a smooth match beating Janko Tipsarevic. 6-1,6-4,6-3.
Is this the Golden Age of Serbian tennis or what? I sure think so… tell us your thoughts!
