The ITF has announced that the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas quarterfinal ties between Germany and France, and Argentina and Kazakhstan will take place in Stuttgart and Buenos Aires respectively.
Argentina will be looking to continue its perfect record at Parque Roca in Buenos Aires when it takes on World Group new boys Kazakhstan. The ITF also confirmed that the tie has been brought forward by one day on account of sporting events being prohibited on the same day as government elections in the Argentine capital.
The tie, which will now take place from Thursday 7 July to Saturday 9 July, pits one of the most consistent teams in recent years, Argentina, against World Group debutants Kazakhstan.
Germany has elected to play its Davis Cup by BNP Paribas quarterfinal against France at the TC Weissenhof in Stuttgart. It is only the second time that the tennis club, which is best known for being the venue for the Mercedes Cup, has played host to a Davis Cup tie.
Germany overcame South Africa 5-0 in the World Group play-offs there in September last year. For more information visit www.daviscup.com.
