What a Father’s Day is in store for Roger. First of all what a difference a year makes. Last year PAPA Federer had beautiful twin girls. Now he has a set of twin boys too. He is a blessed man. Add the lovely Mirka and wow. Big congrats to PAPA Robbie Federer. Thank you for creating the greatest tennis player of all time. The dynasty has begun.

Happy Fathers Day to Ron in Indian Wells. Those Saturday 4:30 in the morning wake up calls to leave the house @5 to be @ Midtown tennis club by 6:00 am start. All I can say is thank you for encouraging me. Thank you for getting grumpy me out of bed to drive 200 miles roundtrip. The tennis was from 6-9. We usually be home by noon. But exhausted. We spent my teenage years hitting tennis balls whenever and wherever we could find court time in the Tri – State area.

To all the papas and dads and daddy’s out there that take their kids to tennis remember the kids are kids. Let them play and have fun out there. Me. I loved the wall. Still do.

To the pops of Brett Connors. You must be a pretty awesome guy to have such a great son. Brett is fast becoming the tennis artist. His photography is fantastic.

Max and the Mirnyi’s. Nicolai is an amazing dad and grand dad. Max Mirnyi is a super dad. How he juggles all of his responsibilities amazes me. On Petra’s last birthday Max was in Indian Wells . So He called her school so he could wish her happy birthday. With the time difference and his match schedule he had her pulled from class for a moment to send his love.

To all the daddy’s that work in tennis. We wish you all happy fathers days. We all know tennis is 24/7/365. So many of you are working this Father’s Day. Look at Roger. He has a singles and a doubles match to play at the Gerry Weber Open in Halle Germany. He will be a busy man.
