Day 9 OZ Open  |

Long version or short version? I choose to make it a short version today as I am feeling the effects of being non-stop since my arrival on the 3rd of Jan!

Sometimes you need to be smart and think of yourself and take a break!

Yesterday was a great dinner with Caroline Wozniacki and her parents! Mats and I walked back from dinner and the city skyline is a great view!

This morning I arrived at the site to have practice with Esther Vergeer but on my arrival my credential had expired (my credential was a coach badge with Sorona Cirstea and since she lost you have no right to attend the tournament)!

However I am obviously still working with plenty of players but as a coach you have absolutely no standards or credit for that matter! Even though I see this as my most successful slam with results 1) Monica Seles-winner 1992 2) Aranxta Sanchez Vicario 1994 finals 3) Mary Pierce winner 1995 4) Mary Pierce finals 1997 5) Nathalie Dechy semi final 2005 6) Ana Ivanovic- final 2008 but I still have no status or right to get a coaching credential! I think tennis is the only sport that does not give rights to coaches! Believe me I am working on it!

Luckily the mother of Caroline helped me to get a new credential and I could actually start my work again!

10 to 11 Esther Vergeer

11 am scouting of other quarter final of Na Li and Andrea Petkovic (together with Peter the father of Caroline)!

12:30 pm warm-up with Caroline

2pm- practice with Esther

3:10m match of Caro started
2 hour plus of match time!

5:30 pm work out to get rid of some adrenaline

7 pm in the lounge at the Hyatt to have a glass of champagne for a small celebration! In addition, writing my blog and catch up with Claus Marten

Now, time to relax and some time to enjoy the night match of Berdych and Djokovic!
