It’s that stealthy time of the year. Everyone’s somewhere doing something. Some off season! Its the busiest 5 weeks of the year. Re: the mighty Roger Federer. … The guess around here was Dubai.

We see Gael Monfils in Los Angeles at a Lakers game with the amazing and cool Redfoo. We have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. A really nice guy. And according to Los Angeles publicist Steve Pratt Mama Foo is totally cool too.

So where’s Roger? We wish we knew. Do you? We know that he played through the season and gave it his best efforts. He played with a strained back for months. He never complained. He plays “clean”, it can’t be said of all ATP players. He trains hard. He switched around with a racket. Made a drastic change in head size versus a more gradual change. That shouted that he was nervous or feeling desperate. He and Paul Annacone bid adieu. But he has his solid team Federer.

If Roger is trying a bigger Wilson racket? We hope that if so, he is only hitting with one that’s 2 inches larger in overall size.
