I’m Back! I missed 10sBalls. I even missed their mobile friendly site Tennis10sBalls. I missed New York City. I missed the hot dogs. The city that never sleeps. It really doesn’t. I remember last year my favorite coach taking taxi cabs from one end of Manhattan and back trying to get cryogenics on their player at all hours.

Wow. New York City. The “Taste of Tennis” party was great. Not as much fun without the players wearing aprons and ️serving the food.

Yes, the team loves theirs rooms. We are excited in a big big way. Our friend “Misa” Michaela Krajicek came thru more knee surgeries and is back at the Slam for doubles. She tried for WIMBLEDON. But it didn’t work out.

Arthur ASHE kids day was great! The old “setup week” that became “Fan week” was a huge success! Free Open practice. Free qualies. Lots of autographs and great energy.

Our buddy Donald Young Jr. came thru qualies. He fought hard. He played well. He is 29 years old and has twice reached the round of 16. He plays Monday versus JUAN Martin Del Potro. This is a great first rounder for D.Y.

He is known as a giant killer. I’m choosing Donald in 4 sets. Also. Just bought his great WATCH. Red band. Very cool. Can’t wait to see it. “Uncle Jack” watches. Check them out.

Ok. Crazy first round match. Maria Sharapova versus qualifier and former top Tenner Patty Snyder. Now that one is going to be a real test for Maria’s nerves. Patty is 41 now. And very confident after working her way thru qualies.

Some more crazy match ups opening day. On ASHE Stan Wawrinka versus Grigor Dimitrov. Last few years that could have been a semis or final.

Rafa NADAL a night match versus countryman David Ferrer. Same thing. Easily a semi or final. But Rafa all the way.

Feliciano Lopez plays Fernando Verdasco. Okay. Half the Spaniards lose on Monday? Ok.

But the best. The talented, intent, and focused Tommy Robredo who fought his way thru qualies and now faces the very, very hot Tsitsipas. (yes, Segura could go on forever with that name… Bless you Pancho…) Gotta run. We hit the Wilson party, the ping pong party, the FILA party and not sure where we are off to . More mañana.
