Two compatriots faced off in doubles, as the team of Eugenie Bouchard and Sloane Stephens caused the upset over the fifth seeds Gabriela Dabrowski and partner Yifan Xu. They could potentially faced the all-Canadian duo of Rebecca Marino and Carson Branstine in the following round.
