Today is one of those days here at WIMBLEDON. It is absolutely beautiful. There is amazing tennis on every court. The buzz is an opening day BUZZ…  Today it seems bigger.

You’ve got your upsets of seeds – bye bye Sloane STEPHENS.

Borna Coric was taken out too.

Then you got the Great Master of them all… Roger Federer •  He has played in 20 straight Wimbledons. That is 20 in a row and now wearing Uniqlo. Bye Nike…. Still love your shoes? (Seriously, we expect him to stay in the Nike shoes. Next to your racket shoes are the most important tool for a tennis player. The shoes usually determine what kit a player might choose.)

Oh wow. He surprised us all. He practiced here in Nike. There’s been talk of unsigned contracts since March. Now this split. Who gets the RF logo? Is it gone?

A big tourney director told me last year he had to get a truck load of RF hats delivered daily and sold out daily. The colors. They made so many different great color combinations. They named a building on the campus of Nike?

Most of all, the headband was nice but the logo was misplaced – Big time. Funny TV crews were not showing new logo on interview?

Roger looked awesome. He said ” very happy, felt good from the start ”  • ” Felt right at home again.”

This is the ninth time Roger has opened center court for the Championships. . . The first time not wearing Nike.
He is now the global brand ambassador for Uniqlo for the next ten years.
