WHAT THE PLAYERS SAID
Sock
“There have been a lot of firsts. It started at the French Open with my first fourth round of a Slam, now I’ve won my first Masters 1000 in Paris, this will be my first time in the Top 10 and this will be the first time making the year-end [Nitto ATP] Finals. So there’s a lot going on right now emotionally and I can’t wait to enjoy it all with my team.”
“Incredible week. Hard to describe, honestly. I don’t think it’s really hit or soaked in yet. But yeah, to come back from the deficit I was down in my first round, my first match here, and to have this trophy next to me now and talking to you guys has been an incredible achievement.”
Krajinovic
“It was an amazing week with a lot of good wins. From qualies I beat so many good guys with a better ranking than me. So it’s all positive coming home, having holidays finally after playing so many matches this year. And I’m sad I didn’t finish it stronger but that’s tennis. Somebody has to win and he was better today.”
Kubot
“It’s going to be a great end to the season in London and we’re happy to reach that goal that we wanted to reach. We still want to improve and we look forward to the first match there.”
Melo
“We are the team that played the most Match Tie-breaks this year and we know how to play until the last point. We have been playing really well and we did that at the right moment today.”
