We took a roadtrip to Salvation Mountain on Saturday. On our way back to Indian Wells, we noticed a border patrol checkpoint. In the car was a Mexican American, a Chicano, a German American, and a Brit with a questionable name. All with media credentials from the BNP Paribas. They had us waiting there for about 15 minutes before letting us go, but you could sense a slight panic from the people in the family van. It was a trip to remember.
It was the end of an era at Crandon Park for the Miami Open last year. From the Lipton, to the Nasdaq 100, to the Sony Ericsson, to the Sony, to the Miami Open presented by Itau, Key Biscayne saw it all.
