Champions Tennis brings together some of the sport’s biggest names and personalities as former Grand Slam Champions, World number 1s and national icons relive their rivalries in one of London’s most famed and iconic venues. The ATP Champions Tour field consists of two groups of round-robin matches, with the top player in each group playing in the ATP Champions Tour final on Sunday 4th December in a bid to become Champion.

Group A consists of four-time Wimbledon semi-finalist Tim Henman, former top 20 player Xavier Malisse and two-time US Open Champion Pat Rafter. Group B comprises former World number 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero, former British number 1 Greg Rusedski and ATP record holder Fabrice Santoro.

There will also be legend exhibition singles matches featuring a repeat of the first Champions Tennis ATP Champions Tour final in 1997, as 7-time Grand Slam Champion John McEnroe takes on former Roland Garros finalist Henri Leconte. McEnroe will also relive his rivalry with Guy Forget, with honors even in their head-to-head record.

The exhibition doubles matches will consist of combinations of all players, with the court jester and crowd favourite Mansour Bahrami teaming up with McEnroe a particular highlight. Bahrami will feature each day during the event as he marks his 20th appearance at Champions Tennis.

This year Champions Tennis is also proud to partner with SportsAid, a charitable organisation which has helped aspiring British athletes with financial assistance and support. On Friday 2nd December the tournament will host a SportsAid charity session, which will feature the ‘Fast4’ format with teams captained by former GB Olympians Mark Foster and Denise Lewis. The session will also consist of a spectacular performance from English soprano Laura Wright and to conclude the afternoon, a parade of Olympians and Paralympians, including British athletes who participated in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.

On Saturday 3rd December, the tournament will host a Kids Day, starting at 11:30am which will give young fans the chance to get involved in an array of fun tennis activities, including exclusive coaching from Champions Tennis legends such as Pat Rafter and Judy Murray’s Miss-Hits programme. Children will also be given the opportunity to visit the magical world of George and the Ice Cream Castle, with educational garden games, puzzles, colouring-in book giveaways and much more.
