Gussy after her 1949 WIMBLEDON matches honored by an airplane with her name on it. She launched a ship, had a play written about her and a racehorse named after her. Ever wonder where the expression “All GUSSIED Up” came from? Yup. Gussy. Or Gussie. But she preferred Gussy.

Great photo of friends travelling. Gussy adored both Panchos. Actually that’s three Pancho’s because she was fond of 10sBalls PANCHO too. Here she and Pancho Segura were heading to play on the Riggs pro tour.
