His name was Panchito. He loved to play with tennis balls. But never chased after them while we were playing. He watched from his golf cart or in the grass in the shade even though he got fleas from that vantage point.
Who was Panchito? He was just about the closest a dog could be to a person. He was our mascot our Buddy and our friend, our co-worker in the office.
It’s funny, He never liked clay court tennis. Way too dirty for him. He was all white and a big fluffy Havanese so the thought of clay dust and dirt gave him the “willies”.
He passed during his season. Grass court tennis and he was already all white. So he passed all dress code rules for Wimbledon. He wouldn’t mind sliding and or rolling on those lawns and getting grass stains. I can see him doing his famous “rub a dub” right now in/on center court.

We have very heavy hearts. But it’s a good time to mention that we applaud all that are involved in animal rescue. We know many tennis players globally support the cause. Our girl Michaela Krajicek wears our 10sBalls.com patch as well as a Dutch pet rescue called @dierenlot where she serves as a global ambassador.
