NOVAK DJOKOVIC AND A HEAP OF TENNIS SUPERSTARS TO PLAY IN THE BOODLES 15TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT

Novak Djokovic, Juan Martin del Potro, Nick Krygios, Alexander Zverev and Borna Coric are just some of the players confirmed in a star-studded line-up to play at Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire as The Boodles celebrates its 15th anniversary from 21st – 25th June.

 

Leading the stellar field is Novak Djokovic, fresh from his history-making win at Roland Garros, making his only grass-court event appearance before Wimbledon. The Next Generation including Nick Kyrgios, Alexander Zverev and Borna Coric will provide The Boodles guests with a glimpse into the future of tennis.

**Rafael Nadal was confirmed to play but unfortunately has been forced to withdraw due to an on-going wrist injury.

 

2001 Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic enjoyed his visit to The Boodles so much last year he’ll be returning to recreate some magic again this year.

 

The Boodles Founder and Director Patricio Apey said:

 

“We wanted a special line up for our 15th anniversary and that’s exactly what we have. We are incredibly privileged that Novak Djokovic has chosen to come to The Boodles every year since 2006 and will return once again to complete his Wimbledon preparations. We are also delighted to have former US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro back from injury and joining us again along with some of the stars of the future in Zverev, Krygios and Coric.”

 

The Boodles takes place at Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire, from 21st – 25th June 2016, the week before the Championships begin at Wimbledon.

Year after year, The Boodles attracts the world’s best players as they finalise their grass-court preparations . Over the last 14 years the event has featured a who’s who of the tennis world including Andy Murray, Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Andre Agassi and Tim Henman. With an intimate 2,000 seater stadium, where no seat is further than 12 metres from the court, The Boodles puts guests right at the heart of the action on court while entertaining them in a relaxed, garden party atmosphere.
