Tie Break Tens To Back Andy’s Aces At The Royal Albert Hall

Tie Break Tens has joined forces with Andy’s Aces, the campaign set up by Andy Murray to raise money for Unicef, the world’s leading children’s organisation.

Murray is donating £50 for every ace he hits between mid-September and the end of the year, and Tie Break Tens has pledged to donate £50 for every ace hit by any player during its launch night at the Royal Albert Hall on Saturday 5th December as part of Champions Tennis.

Murray will take on Tim Henman, World No.7 David Ferrer and Davis Cup team-mate Kyle Edmund in Tie Break Tens, a new, quick-fire, super-competitive tie-break tournament.

Matthew Pryke, Tie Break Tens Tournament Director, said: “We are delighted to be contributing to Andy’s Aces in our first Tie Break Tens event. The campaign Andy has created has worked wonderfully well, and we are confident he will be in supreme serving form, both to try to win the event and to raise as much money as possible for Unicef.”

A text-to-donate appeal to support Unicef’s work to protect children in danger will be made during Tie Break Tens at the Royal Albert Hall, and #AndysAces will feature as on-court branding.

Murray has hit 108 aces since the campaign began. To date, thanks to the support of his fans and partners, including Standard Life and Under Armour who have both matched his donations, he has raised over £43,000 for Unicef. This sum can provide 8,600 children with blankets to keep them safe and warm.
