A total of 120,449 spectators came to watch and enjoy this year’s DongFeng Motor Wuhan Open WTA tournament, a 60% increase on last year’s attendance.
“The crowds this year demonstrated the enthusiasm Wuhan has for world class tennis and the great support our event has from the city,” said Tournament Director Yi Guoqing. “We are still are young tournament and we are not yet perfect, but our goal is to be perfect. We will try our upmost to improve each year in each and every area.
