Under the terms of the agreement, OrangeCoach will power the ‘Career Zone’ of Tennis Europe’s soon-to-be-launched website, TennisCoachEd.com. Designed to cater for all sectors of the tennis industry, the site focuses primarily on coaches and will offer a variety of unique services including an academy database, details of further education opportunities, coaching advice and tools to compare the various national education systems within Europe.

OrangeCoach will also provide registered coaches from Tennis Europe’s 49 member national federations with access to its online job and career platform which connects coaches and tennis employers such as managers, tennis parents, resorts, academies and clubs from all around the world.

Tennis Europe Chief Executive Officer Olli Mäenpää commented, “As the European Federation, we – and our constituent members – have a responsibility to take care of our coaches, who are the ambassadors and sales people of our sport. This project is part of our long term commitment to raise the standards of coaching and ensure that all coaches in Europe are supported as they follow their chosen career path. We are particularly excited to be teaming up with OrangeCoach, whose shared goals and expertise are invaluable to us.”

OrangeCoach co-owner and coach of Maria Sharapova Sven Groeneveld said, “My coaching career took off thanks to an advertisement for a tennis job on the other side of the world, and continues to give me wonderful opportunities and experiences to this day. Nine years ago we created our vision with the aim of helping every tennis coach, local or international, reach their ultimate business potential by using online technology. Through this partnership with Tennis Europe, we hope to extend our platform to the 100,000+ coaches working across the continent.”
