*** Mike and Bethanie Mattek-Sands won the French Open Mixed Doubles three weeks ago. It was Mike’s 4th Grand Slam Mixed Title, while Bob has won 7.
*** Mike and Bob reached the Finals of the Men’s Doubles there at Roland Garros with wins over: Klaasen-Lu, 7-6, 6-2; Kokkinakis-Pouille, 7-6, 7-6; Chardy-Kubot, 6-4, 7-5; Matkowski-Zimonjic, 6-4, 6-7, 6-4; and Bolelli-Fognini, 6-3, 6-3. The Bros. lost in the Finals to Dodig-Melo, 6-7, 7-6, 7-5.
*** It was the 6th French Open Final for the twins.
*** The Bros. have now been in 28 Grand Slam Finals, with the Woodies second with 15 Grand Slam Finals.
*** The Bryans have appeared in 158 Finals, with 106 Titles and 52 Runner-Ups. All three are records.
*** Mike has been #1 in the world in Doubles for a record setting 437 weeks, while Bob is second with 422 weeks, and John McEnroe is third with 270 weeks.
*** During the 2915 campaign the Bros. are 25-8, with titles at Monte Carlo, Miami and Delray Beach and a Final at the French.
*** Bob and Michelle are expecting their third child – – – a little boy – – – in October.
*** Mike and Bob had a blast attending the Maroon 5 Concert in Paris as the special guest of lead guitarist James Valentine, and while in London last week Mike and Lucie enjoyed going to lunch with Jim Bogios, the drummer of the Counting Crows. Bogios often performs with the Bryan Bros. Band at charity events, while Mike and Jim had fun hitting some balls on the hallowed grass at the Queens Club.
*** While at the ITF Banquet in Paris, Mike and Bob received their 11th World Doubles Champion Award. The previous record was three times by the Woodies.
*** Kathy went on a wonderful three day trip to Calgary, Canada last weekend with Kaley Cuoco, the star of The Big Bang Theory and many movies, and Layne Cuoco, to view horses and the grounds and facilities at the famed international equestrian center at Spruce Meadows.

Dave McKinney, the popular and hardworking Tennis Director of SHCC, will once again head up the event. The Bryan Brothers Foundation, through the funds raised from this event and the generosity of so many people have been able to donate over $630,000 to deserving kids and kids programs over the past few years.
