For the most part it was a solid week at the Memphis Open for Americans, especially Donald Young and Sam Querrey. Both men reached the singles semifinals and Young also finished runner-up in doubles with partner Artem Sitak.

There is no rest for the weary throughout the month of February, and this American hard-court swing is no exception. Young, Querrey, and plenty of others are getting right back in action at the Delray Beach Open.

“Thanks Memphis, Tenn for the support this [week],” Young posted on Instagram on Sunday. “Was a good [week] for me reaching the singles semis and my first tour dubs final! Moving on to Delray…”

The world No. 58’s Delray Beach campaign will begin on Tuesday against Ivan Dodig. Young is looking to build on Memphis wins over Adrian Mannarino, Denis Kudla, and Bernard Tomic. He is now 6-3 for the season and has not lost in the first round in any of three events. Dodig has also advanced out of the opening round in all four of his tournaments in 2015. The 86th-ranked Croat is coming off a 6-4, 7-6(5) second-round loss in Memphis to John Isner.

Isner, who was edged out in a pair of tiebreakers by Querrey in the Memphis quarters, will go up against Marinko Matosevic on Tuesday. The world No. 19 is 3-0 lifetime against Matosevic with all three victories coming in 2014 (Madrid, Atlanta, and Cincinnati). Isner has held 39 of 40 service games versus the Aussie and has fired 56 aces past him in seven sets.

Querrey, meanwhile, will contest his Delray Beach opener against Alejandro Gonzalez. All of the Americans are looking to join Kudla, their countryman, in the second round after the wild-card entrant took care of Lukas Lacko 6-3, 6-4 on Monday.
