2015 Australian Open – Platinum Collection

Set to hit the courts in Melbourne for the 2015 Australian Open, Fila’s sponsored athletes will debut the innovative, new Platinum collection. Platinum offers a cohesive range of fashions, marked by fresh new fabrics, design details that showcase a high-end flavor, and stand-out styles. Training pieces were created to complement tennis apparel, for complete looks that can easily be worn on and off-court. As Fila’s most advanced line yet, technology is a crucial component of the Platinum story.

Fila’s breakthrough Platinum collection features INVISTA’s THERMOCOOL ™ fabric, designed to optimize the body’s natural thermal capabilities through smart fiber cross-sections: Duoregulation ™ adapts to the wearer’s needs. Offering energy and wellness, Duoregulation ™ provides overall comfort helping you to be warm when you feel cold and cool when you feel hot. Add to that ultra-sleek reflective finishes, laser-cut, no-sew seams, hyper-modern silhouettes composed of color blocking and sharp curves, and intelligently placed media pockets that accommodate your every tech device. A vibrant color palette filled with bold hues like diva pink and shocking orange, adds to Platinum’s futuristic vibe.

The boldly designed Platinum dress, in diva pink/white/charcoal hues, features a racerback silhouette with a no-sew insert at the front yoke, reflective piping at the center back, an inside bra with removable padded cups, and the shiny heat transfer F logo and silver reflective heat transfer FILA Speed logo. The collection includes four different silhouettes of tops to match the coordinating skorts, each with the shiny heat transfer F logo and silver reflective heat transfer FILA Speed logo. The halter tank was created with contrasting binding at the armholes and an inside bra. The cap sleeve top has embossed FILA neck taping and a no-sew media port hole. The collection also includes the Platinum skort (in 13 ½ “ and 14 ½“ center back length) with the silver reflective heat transfer FILA Speed logo, a no-sew side vent with reflective print tape, inside Forza ball short, and COOLMAX® EVERYDAY fabric crotch lining.
