The News Has been broken by Bob Larson news service that Jo – Willie Tsonga is being paid 500 thousand dollars to play in the inaugural IPTL. If Jo is making $$$$$. What’s Roger Federer getting ? $$$$$$$$$$$ ? Or Maria Sharapova ? Or Andy Murray ? We will know in time. And for sure we don’t want to hear in 2015. Oh I’m worn out by April cause I played league tennis in November / December….

The most discussed right now is J-Willi. Why ? We love the dude but he just basically bailed on his country in the finals of the Davis cup last week end ? He said he hurt his arm in practice on Davis cup week …. Now he is playing ?

Re : this league stuff. We are all for it. We love exo tennis and the team tennis formats. Love it. Do we feel that both this group with Mahesh Bhupathi as well the group led by the father /son team of Vijay & Prakash AMRITRAJ are going to both “TAKE A BATH IN THE GANGES RIVER ? “…….These things take time and lots of nourishing and money at first but this is big money. We support it and we wish them both great success.

To retired pro and now teaching pro in Los Angeles Lester Cook . Big congrats on being the first time daddy. Les and his beautiful wife just had a little girl . Since Southern California is on my mind. Congrats also go out to the La Jolla Beach And tennis club. The San Diego area has so many great national events all year. On Monday the national Men’s 40 will be in La Jolla. The matches are free. We heard Jeff Tarango was entered as well as the colorful and talented Murphy Jensen. Bill Kellogg does an amazing job to have one of the nicest clubs in the world.
